Tina Kaveh Haghighi

MSc Student

I’m a genetics student driven by an insatiable curiosity about life, whether I’m decoding DNA sequences or lost in the quiet magic of a forest. At my core, I’m a deeply passionate observer of the natural world, fascinated by every plant, animal, and microscopic thread that keeps our ecosystems spinning.
When I’m not analysing genomes for the Formica paralugubris project, I’m usually channeling my energy into reading, writing, or painting. My absolute favourite pastime, however, is watching the sunrise and sunset. A daily reminder of my tiny, delightfully unimportant place in this vast universe (though I like to think my work with the ants helps balance things out a little).
